The boys enjoying treats from afar! Best comment of the day...by Jackson! "We have family in Texas AND Tennessee???"

Here is the South Dakota branch of the family! Mike (doesn't he look like Roy?) is holding Jackson and Shelly is holding Logan. We just love them to pieces!

Our sweet angel boy #5...by the time most of you read this Logan will be in surgery, or maybe even out. The day will be long, but the presence of the Lord will be comforting.
It is 10:40 PM and this room is really quiet. Jackson fell in love with BOZ the Bear tonight and went to sleep watching it. Logan is resting well and we hope he sleeps through the night since there will be no more eating or drinking. Explain that to a 10 month old! About an hour ago, Roy and I prayed with Mike and Shelly. Roy speaks to the Lord in such reverence, but is willing to ask whatever he needs to. We were all moved by his words and the comfort they made us feel. The fear is gone...God has taken it away. We proclaim that! Shelly was tearful as she rocked Logan to sleep realizing that tomorrow his foot will be gone. But she knows that God will be right there protecting her precious baby and strengthening the doctors and staff who care for him. I know she is missing her mom and that Mike is missing his mom, but I think it has been good for me to be here with her - mother to mother - there are some unspoken things only mothers can understand.
I was so excited to get Becky Brooks email about her little niece's adoption and in it she shared a verse. It says it all...

Psalm 90:16, "Let us see your miracles again; let our children see Your glory at work!" I can't wait to see the Lords miraculous ways in our Logan. Thanks, Becky, for sharing that verse!
Praise God from whom all good blessings come...be blessed today!

we love you sweet Logan
Mindy- I will be praying for sweet Logan and your family. Christine shared this story with me at Jack's birthday party and my heart just breaks for you all. He is SO CUTE! He looks so happy in the pictures on this blog. I am so glad the fear is gone. The angels are with Logan. They will watch over him as only God's angels can.
Love, Chesley
Mindy...I am so impressed that you have a blog...dear Randy Vaughn created me one and I have yet to post a cotten picken thing! You may be my inspriation.
I have been honored for the Lord to stir my mind and heart for Roy and you as you go to minister the blessing of tender love and grace to ones you love so dearly...He calls you to mind through out the day and night. It is such a gift that you are able to be there...physically be there...let these precious children and grandchildren know the love and prayers offered to a Mighty God in their behalf. God is just so amamzing...we just see our one little clip of the film...he sees the whole thing...we can't make sense with our small bit of the film...He sees the entire roll of film perfectly...I continue to pray for strength, wisdom and courage to walk by faith not by sight for each of you...what treasure you are...you know we love you!!!
mindy-
We are prayind and praying...knowing the Lord is holding you all every second!
We love you so!
Becky
