Taking a Breath...

Well, here he is!!! His cast is huge...but Dallas Cowboy Blue!!!

But, he already has it off! So much has happened in the last few weeks and I haven't even had a chance to post.
Thanks to all of you who have asked about Logan and the family. Shelly lost her dad to cancer several days ago and so she has had that added grief to deal with. But, we know that Mike is such a rock for her and she for him. They are blessed.
They specifically asked me to post again and express their sincere appreciation for all of the prayers, notes, emails, gifts, and especially sending an angel of the Lord's love to them. For all the prayer warriors across Texas, Arkansas, Tenneesse, North Carolina, Kentucky,California, and to even areas around the world being served by missionaries --- THANK YOU. Mike and Shelly have the most precious hearts and would do anything for anyone. They also some times feel they have to do all THEIR stuff alone. Six hours in one hotel room and we were auctioning off time spots!
I believe this is a journey that we are on with Logan. I got to spend some great Grandma Mindy time and then we were going to go! Walking, Looking, Giggling, and one thing that NEVER CHANGED in that time - he grabbed my index and tall finger on my left hand and never let go. I guess that was our bond!
There is a church between Spearfish, where Mike works, and Belle Fourche, where they live, who are reaching out to their - I mean our - family. The Bible tells over and over again that when we find ourselves in time with those who are walking the walk of Jesus, it is a blessing that we will never to able to measure, but one that reaches higher and deeper as the love of Christ. Some of the Christians are reaching out in the name of God and we know all will be blessed.
Logan seems to be getting around well and as soon as the incision is completely healed, and he begins to try to walk, he will be able to be fit for his prosthetic. And let me assure you, add the spunk the kid already has, the free open fields that are South Dakota, and an amazing new "leg" - I think we'll all be tired of chasing him and never catching him! But won't it be grand!
Jackson is doing well and is gearing up for the big 5th birthday - he's a great kid and someday, we will convince him to come and visit and you can meet 2 amazing little guys!

Our precious Logan has found his smile again! God bless the baby whose life is being built on faith in the Great Healer!

I hope you are blessed today - I just want to reiterate how very much our family appreciates your faithful prayers and care as we went through a tough, but learning, time!

May your day be blessed...Mindy

Mindy- I just want to squeeze little Logan! He is SOOOO cute. I am so glad to hear he is doing better. He looks great! I see Garrett when I look at Logan's eyes... so big and inviting! I am sorry to hear about Shelly's dad. What a hard time this must be for her. I will be praying for your family.

Thanks Mindy for updating us about Logan and your sweet family! What a blessing that God's people all over the world were holding him up to Jehovah Rapha! Please give an update on your hubby so we can pray for him and you.
