Days...and more days...

Just thought I'd give a quick update! Hopefully, Kathy and I will get a good photo of Christine in maternity clothes to post, because it looks doubtful that the outside world will see her any other way! And that's okay. She's looking quite pregnant and Sam is a mover. Everytime they try to get a heart rate check, he takes off! He's already got such a way about him, and we are just praying that God will continue to bless him as he grows and gets ready to come and see us.
Just as the hyper-emesis seems to be cooling a little, Sam is getting so big and stretching things and now the scar tissue is a problem. She, at least, is enjoying a day here and there of not throwing up, all day. The neonatologist came and talked with M and C just to let them kind of know where things stand. They would really like her to get to 30 weeks - further if possible and that is what we are praying so hard for. She is going into week 25 and as much as we want this to last way beyond 30, 30 is not very far away!
The work at their house progresses and Matt has been videotaping the goings-on. You can tell when he is really tired, because the tape gets real funny and doorknobs get put on backwards, etc. Jack is finally okay with the big bed being in his room, however, Matt has been sleeping in there some at night. When Jack went over there last night, he walked into his room, right up to the bed and said "Who's been sleeping in my bed?!"
It's my shift for a few days to give Giggi a break and just let me say, we are two amazing grannies, if I do say so myself! Maybe we'll write a book together someday with that title. We laugh at the changing of the goods at all hours of the day and night, at church, at my Brenda's, in the driveway, wherever works out. Some precious ladies from her Bible Class are bringing us dinner two nights a week and since my house if centrally located to them, they drop both meals here. I call Kathy...say "Dinner's here", and whoever is in the car comes and gets it or drops it off. What a blessing our church family has been to all of us.
Jack continues to amaze us and we praise God for his sweet little heart and wonderful disposition.
Thanks to everyone for their continuous prayers and good thoughts...we are being blessed in so many ways and we are grateful for each of you.

Be blessed today...

Oh, you've gotta tell the story of Jack with the shorts on his head! He is doing his part to keep things light-hearted! 30 weeks isn't very far! Seeing it in print was a little mind-boggling! We're praying for God to soften & stretch her scar tissue, & keep her comfortable until He knows the time is right! Love you, Kathy

You are two of the most amazing grandmothers ever! You will all have some amazing stories at the end of this journey. I hope Jack is enjoying having most of his things out of boxes and where he can get to them! I have such a soft spot for that little guy right now! I'm still waiting on my call to keep him one of these days or evenings. We're praying hard for all of you!

Oh I just wish I was closer. I know that you two pass in the night. Blessings pour on Christine. I can not wait to see her. Sam is a fighter I can tell that. You do need to journal some stories together and I'll write them in book form and we will find a publisher and we're off! The best seller list! Love you both.
