Looking back...

I am going to go backwards in order to catch up...if that makes any sense. I have been trying to find time to post these photos and so here goes...

This first photo is for my older sister...I had the honor of decorating a table with Christine for a Ladies Fall Renewal Dinner at our church. Donna gave me some ideas and Christine and I mixed ours in and here's what we got...hope you approve, sis!

On to Thanksgiving...these 2 turkeys always seem to show up...and that makes me so happy! (Again, thanks Auntie Donna for the headwear!)

Next on the calendar was my 50th birthday! And who better to celebrate it with than this little man!

My children and family surprised me at Pappasito's - Emily did a great job of totally throwing me off and well...I was surprised. This does not happen often, so my kids were totally successful! What fun! And, look how Sam I Am is growing!

Next, we all traveled to Temple to see Liberty Christian beat Dallas Christian in the State Championship Game! Brad had a great first season coaching and we were kind of sad to see the season end!

The next weekend, we held our Annual Cookie Swap, which began when Melissa Jo was just 4 years old. Each year, it is more and more fun and this year was no different! Even Jack and Mary Kate got to invite friends this year and we had such fun! (Again, very cute outfits for the girls with a monogrammed shirt for Jack supplied by none other than Aunt Donna!)

It's always so funny to me to think that Jack and Mary Kate are just 6 weeks apart in age, yet they are 2 different generations!

Jack could hardly wait to get to the best part...the snacks!

The next week, after collecting books and toys at the Cookie Swap, and a few trips to Target and the mall, Melissa Jo and Mary Kate, and Marianne and I went to Emily's school to take Christmas presents and decorations to a family we had adopted through her school. What fun and what a blessing to be able to share during a season where God shared the greatest gift of all with each of us!

This is all I have ready to go right now, but check back soon! We spent an amazing Christmas day at our family farm in Bowie and it was such a wonderful time!

I am so glad that you posted on my blog so I could look at blog. I had such a great time reading your last few posts and learning more about your family. Who knew you had a son? I look forward to many more posts to come. My mom is lucky to have you!

Looks like you've been busy with wonderful things! I have a little boy who is on cloud nine because he just saw his best bud, "Mickey Jack" twice in a few days. And I got to see Christine and Baby Sam! So thrilled about your job in the nursery. You will be awesome for that ministry!

Your table certainly WAS amazing at the fall renewal. Thanks again for helping me, even with all that you have going on. I love your servant heart!

I also love the updates. Thanks for filling us in on the last couple of "Mindy months"
