Christine gave me permission to share the photo of this wonderful little soul with all of you who have been praying so hard for their sweet family!
This is Sam and we are so thankful that God has brought him to 20 weeks. Our prayer now is that he will continue to grow and that Christine will be blessed with better health. She did not get to come home today, but that is okay. For now, she needs to be there. Kate and Leah came from Abilene and Jocelyn came over from Dallas and they had a "girl's visit" - perfect medicine! Thank you so much for ministering to her!
It WAS a little funny when Matt called and was trying to get hold of Christine so he could describe faucets and fixtures at Home Depot for her. Bless his heart...he wants to get all this done for her and their family. He's a treasure!
Jack and I went over tonight and he made an Easter picture (lots of glue and stickers) with his mommy for Giggi. He sat up in the bed with her and watched Boz the Bear and then patted her tummy and said "I love you, Sam". Be still my heart! We are thankful for all your prayers and ask that you continue to keep this precious little family in your daily prayers. Each week is a benchmark for Christine and that is what we are trying to get through...one day at a time. Pre-term labor began at 18 weeks with Jack and then again at 28 weeks. But, we won't worry about that. God's plan will unfold as He sees fit. Blessings to each of you and to your families...

Honestly.....with all of our beautiful and blessed families, one day at a time is all we can handle! I am so happy to be a part of yours now too! Praying constantly for Tine and Sam. He looks so content and BIG! Of course with all these family pregnancies I am getting to be an expert reading these sonograms! And, I have total confidence that Matt picked out the right plumbing fixtures! He is precious.
We are praying hard every day! It's so much fun when you have a name to call the tiny little person growing in there! I love the name Samuel - that's what we were going to name Kailey if she had been a boy! We're eagerly awaiting our opportunity to help with any moving, packing, etc. And if you guys need any more food, help with Jack, or errands run, never hesitate to call. Love you guys!
Oh, and how blessed is Christine to not only have an incredible mother to help her through this, but also a loving mother-in-law!!! You two are amazing! It's no wonder your children are so strong and special!

That is a precious picture of little Sam! He looks perfect! Jack is going to be such a sweet brother.
