Two posts in one day?

Most of you know...I DO NOT have too much time on my hands...but had to share a bedtime moment. (By the way - Giggi and Mimi are trying to figure out all Christine's bedtime songs - some she wrote herself just for Jack - but in the mean time, we sing our own!)
Some of those include...blanket song, Giggi song, Mimi song, Mommy has a baby Sam in her tummy song (that's word for word). We just kind of make them up as we go.
Tonight, however, I chose some "worship" songs and one of our favorites is "Blessed is the Lord...who would not give us up..." - very appropriate right now. I started to sing it, and Jack dropped his blanket, the contraband pacifier, and stood up in my lap and raised up his hands. When I realized what he was doing, I melted. And in a moment...I forgot everything around me, except watching my grandson praise God in such a precious way.

Blessings abound...

It's IS really wonderful...especially because as I was relating that story to Christine, she told me that when they had come on that one Saturday in between hospital visits, they had taken Jack into the auditorium and they sang that song. And he looked around and saw other people raising their hands and so he joined them! I know now that made an eternal memory on his heart!

Jack is such a sweet boy and he has such wonderful parents and grandparents and extended family pouring out love and prayer over him. It was great to see Christine Saturday and finally get to visit in person with her! She amazed me when she said, after all she's already been through, that she would rahter be sick if it meant that Sam was healthy and growing. She has an incredible strength. I'm keeping all of you in my prayers...so glad she has you all there.

That is about the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.

Precious Jack. There is no telling what we do not begin to imagine is going on between Jack and the Lord right now. I am praying that he feels the arms of Jesus around him, even in a physical way, when he has to be away from his mommy! It sounds like his little heart certainly knows that the One he worships is there to be reached out to! What a special moment for you to be able to share with him!
