We had another great time this year at our annual Christmas Cookie Swap! Each year, it is just so fun and the kids seem to really enjoy it. When I got ready to post, I thought it would be fun to go back and remember our past parties. I am missing the first year where all the kids were dressed in green velvet with white fur...Jack and Mary Kate were only 5 and 6 months old. Our sister, Donna, who lives too far away, is responsible for all the cute outfits! Unfortunately, Sam is missing from these photos, because he's usually crashed in nap mode during the party...
Enjoy...

Each year, we ask our guests to bring a book, or a small gift...this year it was gloves. We package them up and donate them to someone who needs them. This year, they brought gloves and made little bags with gloves, pencils and candy in them. Maelie's daddy is taking care of getting them to some very special children. I love the hearts of these little ones...they love to receive, of course...what child doesn't. But what is so wonderful, is that they love to give, more. God bless them...and their sweet parents who are teaching them the true meaning of Christmas.
Whether you are baking cookies, wrapping packages, listening to some great Christmas music...whatever, I pray that you will take the time to enjoy the sweet "little" things about this season that make it so wonderful! Most of all, remember that sweet little blessing that God gave this world so many years ago...we are so blessed.
Merry Christmas...

What special memories, and precious pictures! What a difference each year makes! Every year I wonder how you pull this off, but I don't think the kids will ever let you off the hook! It's too much fun! Happy New Year!
